Why you can trust it

1. Your data never leaves your device. The text you type is encrypted right here, in your browser. It's never uploaded — the only copy of the original stays in front of you.
2. We don't store your data. We don't store your plaintext, encryption keys, or encrypted data on our servers — it's processed locally in your browser.
3. Open and standard. We use AES-256-GCM through the browser's Web Crypto API — authenticated encryption that protects both confidentiality and integrity. How it works is fully documented, so your data stays unlockable with ordinary tools even if this site disappears.

Three ways to share it

Once it's encrypted, send it whichever way suits you. Your key always travels separately — a phone call, a text, in person.

1. Copy the encrypted text. Paste it anywhere. The other person needs this site and the key.
2. Send a link. The site is built in — they just add the key.
3. Send a QR code. Same as the link, ready to scan from a phone.

Made for everyday privacy

You don't have to be a security expert — and neither does the person you're sharing with. This is for the ordinary moments when something just shouldn't travel as plain text:

• a password for a new account, sent over email
• a private note kept somewhere you don't fully control
• a message you'd rather not leave sitting in a chat history
